I‘ve been thinking a lot about Beauty standards latetly. And since I’m running low on masks, I’ve started experimenting with collages and photo transfers. This is my first one. A self portrait. The main theme is diversity in beauty. This is an inkjet print and even though the common opinion is that only laserjet prints work, I found inkjet worked just fine. The canvas is 50 x 60. I’ve used coffee to give the cut outs an old and used look (True Beauty doesn‘t fade). I’ve used a spatula, old credit cards, spray-paint and small stencils. The colors are acrylic on Canvas. The masks are regular medical masks.
