An Author and Her Dog: 100 Days of Inspirational Words

A New Challenge Begins – And You’re Invited

Has anyone ever written a poem for you? No? Well, if you join my new challenge, that’s something you won’t ever be able to say again…

On May 14th, I started a heartfelt creative journey: 100 days. 100 poems. 100 original pieces—each inspired by a word submitted by you.

It’s called An Author and Her Dog: 100 Days of Inspirational Words.
And yes, my Cavalier co-host Miss Monroe is very much involved. After all, she is my muse.

Why This Challenge?

After finishing my last (slightly parodic) challenge—pretending I had a million followers—I realized something beautiful. These challenges are more than just social media experiments. They’re a way to share my writing and connect with people who might actually like it.

So for this next challenge, I knew I wanted to focus on writing. But not just any writing.
I wanted to create something with the community.
Something that gives back—inspiring, loving, and empowering words for anyone who needs them.

How It Works

  • You submit words on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, or LinkedIn.

  • Each day, I pick one and write a short, original, poetic piece based on it.

  • I turn each piece into a video with voiceover and visuals—and I get to explore my new passion: creating sweet, creative videos.

What You’ll See

  • Original poetic texts, written daily

  • Themes that range from hope, loss, magic, trust, joy, to trans rights and kindness

  • A touch of humor, heart, and always—Miss Monroe in the background
